Sixth Forum: ‘Changing Headingley’

The sixth meeting of Headingley Neighbourhood Forum takes place in the evening of Tuesday 6 October 2015 at Headingley Parish Hall. This meeting adopts a different, two-part format.

(1) ‘Changing Headingley’ (7-8pm) The first part of the evening will be an open public meeting for anyone interested. Headingley has changed radically over the years since its rural beginnings – and mostly due to outside influences. It’s still changing now. Can Headingley community influence the way we change in the future? This is certainly the aspiration of Headingley Neighbourhood Plan. Join in a discussion of the Forum’s plans! We propose to post papers for discussion on this website a week in advance. This meeting is part of the Headingley Festival of Ideas – more info at http://www.headingleydevelopmenttrust.org.uk/festival-ideas-2015

(2) Headingley Neighbourhood Forum (8-9pm) The second part of the evening consists of the formal meeting of the Forum. There will be two main items on the agenda. The first will be formal approval of a First Draft of Headingley Neighbourhood Plan, for consultation during the Autumn. The second will be the Neighbourhood Fund, the extra money that will come to the Area from new developments, as a result of the Plan – how should it be spent?

Non-members are welcome to attend the Forum meeting. New members are always welcome, but you need to apply in advance – write to the Secretary at info@headingleyneighbourhoodplan.org.uk
